Bad Manners are an 80s ska band that died out in the 90s. I think they are still around, but it isn't clear if they are actually making new music. I found them when I was in my ska phase in the mid 90s. I loved everything ska then. Back in the 70s and 80s, ska music was sometimes referred to as 2-Tone music since it was black and white kids making it together. Also because they usually wore black and white suits. The British refer to skinheads more as the shaved head kids that listened to ska music in the 70s and 80s, and not to neo Nazi freaks. Even skinheads need love.

I fell in love with this song when I watched Some Kind of Wonderful for the first time. It appears at the end of the movie after Eric Stoltz and Mary Stuart Masterson kiss. I don't like Elvis, so I don't like the original. I do love this version though.
