Willing to Try

Knight Rider
Channel: NBC
Time: 9/8C
Premieres: Sun, Feb 17
Starring: Justin Bruening, Deanna Russo, Sydney Poitier, Bruce Davison, Val Kilmer
Trailer
Synopsis: NBC is trying out if people want to watch the show again by having it come back as a movie that can also serve as a pilot for relaunching the show with the kid of Michael Knight working with the creator of KITT’s daughter to find out who is trying to steal the smart, shape-shifting car.
My Take: While the original was beyond cheesy, this one looks like it knows it is campy, and has fun with it, while also have pretty cool special effects.
Eh

Amnesia
Channel: NBC
Time: 9/8c
Premieres: Fri, Feb 2
Starring: Dennis Miller
Trailer
Synopsis: Game show where people answer questions about their own life, such as reciting the next line in a woman’s wedding vow or asking a guy the name of the club he accidentally burned down.
My Take: Actually sounds pretty funny, but would only watch it if I ran across it.
Why?

My Dad Is Better Than Your Dad
Channel: NBC
Time: 9/8c
Premieres: Mon, Feb 18
Starring: Dan Cortese
Trailer
Synopsis: Family Double Dare mixed with Fear Factor.
My Take: Thank god the writer’s strike finally over, so hopefully this won’t be on very long.

Pussycat Dolls present Girlicious
Channel: CW
Time: 9/8c
Premieres: Mon, Feb 18
Starring: Mark McGrath
Trailer
Synopsis: After trying to find a new girl for the Pussycat Dolls, to only have the winner decide she was going to go off and have a solo career, the show is back, but with a different agenda. The guy who put the Pussycat Dolls together wants to put another girl group together and call them Girlicious.
My Take: Girlicious is a word you would use when making fun of something. It isn’t something you would use seriously. That shows how much of a clue the guy putting the group together has.
