Just last week it looked like Women’s Murder Club might not be canceled just yet. There was no news after the writer’s strike ended. Then the rumors about the set being torn down started. After that, they were told to stop since there might an additional three episodes if a new show runner is found. What happened to the old show runner? I don’t know! I liked Angie Harmon so I would like this show to continue. I wouldn’t mind if they lost crazy blonde lady who I still see as the killer on one of the 24 seasons.
NBC has canceled Las Vegas. The episode that aired last Friday will now serve as the series finale. It seems that Tom Selleck did not improve ratings like they had hoped, but they just kept going downhill. I would guess it had to do with that the show sucked, and I have no idea why it was on for so long, but that’s just me.
There isn’t official word yet, but Bionic Woman is most likely canceled. The rumors are that staffers were told that it wouldn’t be coming back. It was supposed to be retooled under a new show-runner Jason Cahill, who worked on The Sopranos, but we’ll never see what he meant to do with it. I never watched more than the second episode. I found them too boring. Jer watched them all and told me they didn’t get any better, so I didn’t even bother. I might have if I knew it was coming back, but if it isn’t, then I’ll just delete them off the TiVo.
CBS renewed tons of shows, but didn’t give any final word on Moonlight. That might be because they are looking for a new show-runner. Did the writer’s strike send everyone running for the hills? The show is supposed to air four more episodes this season, but there is no word on if it is coming back this season. Chip Johannessen was “let go” and now they are looking for someone else to run it. He was the second person to run the show after David Greenwalt left before the pilot due to health reasons, which led to the pilot being reshot. I thought it finally started to get interesting right before the last new episode aired, so I wanted to see it come back, but now who knows what will happen.

Well I am very sad about Las Vegas – I think I’m the only one who liked it around here, but it was a fun show for me. I do wish they had been able to do an actual series finale because that would have been nice.
I did watch Women’s Murder Club – I’ve read some of the books it is based off of though. When it came out, the TiVo was too full!
I watched the first Bionic Woman and then just kinda forgot about, so I won’t miss that show
I like Moonlight so I hope it gets to come back, and I hope they get rid of the annoying girl that I didn’t like!
