CW Fall Shows
CW has turned into a network that I really don’t want to watch. They did renew three shows that I watch, Reaper, Smallville, Supernatural, but the rest of it and the new shows don’t sound very promising.
Gossip Girl and One Tree Hill will be back and on Mondays nights. The 90210 spinoff will be leading off Tuesday night. For those that haven’t been following, Jenny Garth will be back as Kelly who is now a guidance counselor at the high school. I think she’s the only tie to the past and the rest is just a bunch of new kids at the school, including the annoying daughter Eve that was in the last season of Nip/Tuck. The other show on Tuesday night is new show Surviving the Filthy Rich about two spoiled extremely rich twins. All the shows on Monday and Tuesday sound the same!
Wednesday will be reality night with America’s Next Top Model and then another fashion show called Stylista about becoming the editor for Elle magazine by surviving working for a fashion news director.
Thursdays will remain the same with Smallville and Supernatural with Reaper showing up on this night at a mideason show when those would normally be in reruns. Friday nights are where they have dumped the old Sunday comedies that survived: Everybody Hates Chris and The Game. That only takes up an hour, so I’m not sure what will be on for the other hour that night. Sunday nights have been outsourced, but no word on what will be on that night yet from some other company that isn’t CW. Sounds very weird.
