MWG: Clash of the Titans (1981)
Since there is a remake of Clash of the Titans coming out, I felt the need to watch this cheesetastic version. My brother and I used to watch it all the time when we were little. It used to drive my mom crazy. I’m not sure if it was the awesome dialogue or special effects. Maybe it was a combo, but it didn’t stop me from loving it. I haven’t seen it in years so I don’t remember much about it besides Medusa scared the crap out of me.
Bonus: It’s available to watch instantly on Netflix!
Netflix synopsis: This epic mythological adventure stars Harry Hamlin as Perseus, son of Zeus (Laurence Olivier), who embarks on a series of perilous quests in the hopes of rescuing Princess Andromeda (Judi Bowker) and winning the keys to the kingdom of Joppa. With winged horse Pegasus as his steed, Perseus must answer vexing riddles, capture the head of Medusa and slay a ravenous sea monster. Burgess Meredith and Ursula Andress co-star in this classic tale.

Watch it and review it!
It may have been cheesy, but it was one of my favorite films as a kid. It will be interesting to see how the remake compares.
I really enjoyed watching this moving again. This was one of my favorites, in my younger years. I love the whole Greek mythology theme.
My favorite characters in this movie were Pegasus and Bubo, Bubo was the hero and saved the day when Perseus dropped the bag. Go Bubo.
Persueus was looking pretty fine in his toga, but he is such a tard. He really just needs to loosin up. Such a stiff.
Moral of the story, don’t piss of the gods!
I totally agree with Marci on this one. I loved this movie when it first came out. I am kindof aggravated that there is no Bubo constellation now. So many comments to make rewatching this one. The Cracken did have nice abs
I thought I had written about this movie, but I guess I didn’t. oops! I do love Greek mythology, which is probably why I loved it so much as a kid. I had forgotten about Bubo so that was a treat to see him again. It was much slower than I remembered. I think I’ve become too used to the fast-paced action films of today since I thought Conan was also way too slow to keep my attention. This one did a better job of keeping my attention but I was yelling at them to move it along at times.
