All the new shows are on tonight. Later on this week, The Event comes back from hiatus. You might have forgotten this show even existed. The critics that have seen the two-hour comeback episode have given it a resounding “ehhhh” review. I don’t believe it’ll be on the air much longer. On a sadder note, Stargate Universe will start showing its final 10 episodes and when it ends there will be no Stargate shows on the air anymore. Tiny tears. The season finales for this week are Southland, White Collar and The Defenders.
Pick of the Week
Synopsis: U.S. Marshalls make a deal with some cons to help them catch other criminals that have broken out of prison. For each one they help them catch, they get time shaved off their sentence.
My Take: It’s a similar premise to White Collar, but a bit grittier. It also has one of the many creepy guys from It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia and he looks like the much needed comic relief.
Synopsis: Millionaires give up their money and houses for a week while they go into a poor community and really get to know the people that live there. At the end of that week, they give some of their money to that community.
My Take: It is a good thing, but I don’t really want to watch it.
Synopsis: People try to sell their restaurant idea to a bunch of investors. It is like Shark Tank but just for restaurant chain money.
My Take: I am not a fan of restaurant chains. I’d rather eat at a local restaurant with fresh ingredients so I’m not interested in this, even though Saucy Balls is an awesome name.
Starring: Gary Busey, Jose Canseco, David Cassidy, Hope Dworaczyk, Richard Hatch, La Toya Jackson, Star Jones, NeNe Leakes, Lil Jon, Marlee Matlin, Mark McGrath, Meat Loaf, John Rich, Lisa Rinna, Niki Taylor, Dionne Warwick
Premieres: Sunday, March 6
Synopsis: Celebrities try to win money for charity, I think. I have a hard time telling his show apart from Celebrity Rehab.
My Take: Gary Busey looks more and more like Fire Marshall Bill every day.
