CBS has an odd line-up tonight with the very family friendly Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer at 8pm, followed two hours later by Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. I know the latter comes on after the kids are in bed, but the shows on CBS that night just do not make sense following one another.
In the sneakiness and keeping secrets from many people at the same time department are Ringer and Covert Affairs. Tara from Buffy guests stars in Ringer as an informant, while Henry has to work with Bridget if he wants to find his missing wife, Gemma. Over on Covert Affairs, a MI6 operative wants Annie’s help to gain access to her cover job at the Smithsonian, unaware that she’s CIA.
The two shows battling out half-naked women on CBS in the same time slot are Parenthood and Body of Proof. On Parenthood, Crosby and Jasmine try to make another go at their relationship while Kristina and Adam find themselves so busy with work that they don’t pay enough attention to Max. On Body of Proof, a cadaver at a medical school has secretly been replaced by the body of a murdered woman. Let’s see if they notice.
On FOX’s comedy night, it starts with student-council election shenanigans on Glee. It is followed by New Girl with Winston stealing the spotlight from Jess in her youth handbell quartet while Nick and Schmidt deal with toilet issues back at the loft. The night finishes with Raising Hope where Burt tries to win an invention competition with his own yogurt and Andrew Dice Clay guests stars as himself.
