Social Media Accounts

I started a few different social media accounts to go along with my various projects.

Stephen King Project

Overall Reading

Currently Reading

I’m usually reading four different books for different reasons. I like to have something to read on my iPad when I’m falling asleep and don’t have to depend on a light to read so I usually turn to comics for that. I’m always listening to some Stephen King on audio when I’m exercising as part of my Stephen King Project. One of my books is either a book club pick or another book of my choosing that I really want to read right now. Finally, one of my books comes from my bookshelf that has been there for years and I am reading it to decide if I want to keep it or sell it.

The Walking Dead, Vol 25: No Turning Back

by Robert Kirkman

After watching the AMC series since it started, I finally started reading the comic book series late last year and now I’m hooked. I have had many issues with the tv show where it is really slow at times with filler episodes which is so weird for a show that only has 16 episodes a season. With the comic, storylines move so quickly and it is different enough that I have enjoyed reading it even though I do know somewhat what will happen in the future.

The House of Mirth

by Edith Wharton

I joined a book club that is reading some classics. We have been reading some books that I have read before, usually in school. This was one that I had never read before and it has been so delightful so far. I wonder why it isn’t regular reading in class.

Pet Sematary

by Stephen King

This is one that I have never read, but I have seen the movie. I have heard it is extremely scary.

The Crimson Petal and the White

by Michel Faber

This was the first book, I drew from my To Be Read bucket. This was one of the books that I purchased from the Quality Paperback Bookclub that I belonged to long ago. I loved to buy books and did not get around to reading half of them. I had to look up what it is about since it has been so long since I purchased it in 2003. It is about the rise of a 19-year-old whore in 1870s London. I now see why I picked it, since I do love tawdry tales about lower class people that are able to rise above their station. This book is taking me a long time to read, mostly because the way it was bound, it is not easy to hold and read. It is impossible for me to carry around with me so I only read it at home, which really slows down my reading since I mostly read while commuting or at lunch.
