Spiderwick Chronicles
Directed: Mark Waters
Starring: Freddi Highmore, Mary-Louise Parker, Nick Nolte, Joan Plowright, David Strathairn, Seth Rogen, Martin Short
Trailer
Synopsis: A family moves from New York into an old house in the woods previously owned by a relative who wrote a book explaining weird things that happen in the woods surrounding the house.
My Take: Wasn’t sure what I thought about a movie with spider in the title, but that appears to be a guy’s name, not some big spider so it looks pretty cool.
RT Score: 79%
RT Consensus: An entertaining children’s adventure with heart and imagination to spare.
