“The Closer” returns this week, but it is only for a few episodes. It is really the final three episodes from season five that TNT held off showing so that it could help be a strong lead in for its new show, “Men of a Certain Age.” “Glee” will have its fall finale this week and will not return until April 13. This is due to the show not picking up production again until after the new year so they don’t’ have any more episodes filmed at this time. It also helps them avoid competing against the Winter Olympics.

Synopsis: A reimagining of the Lewis Caroll classic with Alice is in her twenties and has a fear of commitment that sends her through the looking glass where the characters she comes across are not like the ones in the original story.
My Take: I have not read good things about it, and I was so bored with the “Tin Man” miniseries last year that I quit watching it (it is made by the same people), but I do love the “Alice in Wonderland” story so I will give it a shot and probably hate it anyway.
