Synopsis: There are no Nazis to fight this time, but an ancient Elvin race from the underworld coming up to cause problems for Hellboy and his friends.
My Take: While I was not a fan of the first film, this one looks more in line with Del Toro’s other movie, Pan’s Labyrinth. The creatures look awesome and I want to watch it just for them.

RT Consensus: Del Toro crafts a stellar comic book sequel, boasting visuals that are as imaginative as the characters are endearing.
