Talented home cooks begin their quest to be real chefs in the opener of the series that has them competing for $250,000 and the chance to publish their own cookbook. Their culinary creations will be judged by chefs Gordon Ramsay and Graham Elliot Bowles, and restaurateur Joe Bastianich.

Tommy loses control after blacking out during a night of heavy drinking, and the crew must put the pieces together the next day. They also must find a missing piece.

Annie tries to get close to a college student in hopes that he’ll lead her to information about a corrupt government official in Venezuela. Her task becomes more complicated, however, when an agent investigating the official is murdered.
