Lisa becomes an expert at solving crossword puzzles and enters a tournament, where Home gets involved with an underground better ring. Voices include crossword editor Will Shortz and crossword creator Merl Reagle as themselves.

Triple Threat

The 1989 murder of a Russian prodigy who defected with her family to the U.S. before the fall of the Berlin Wall is reinvestigated. The case has significance for Vera because he was a rookie cop at the time and remembers the family seeking political asylum at the police station.

Desperate Housewives - ABC
City on Fire

Julie Mayer returns with a surprise; Gaby discovers the truth about Mrs. Hildebrand’s past; Katherine has a confession to make to Susan; a fire breaks out at the club where the Wisteria Lane garage band is competing in the battle of the bands; and Lynette learns about Porter and Anne Schilling. Tokyo Police Club appear as a band called Cold Splash.

Dexter - SHO
The Damage a Man Can Do

Miguel not only brings Dexter another potential target but wants in on the action; Rita’s pregnancy causes her to fear that Dexter will lose interest in her; Debra’s digging gets her closer to nabbing the Skinner, and upon discovering a secret about her new boyfriend, Anton, he disappears.

True Blood - HBO
To Love Is to Bury

Bill satisfies the requirements of his punishment; Tara’s call for help is answered by a good Samaritan; Lafayette surprises a two-faced state senator on the campaign trail; Jason gets in more trouble with the law; and Sookie tries to find the meaning of her latest vision.

Wildlife

Stabler goes undercover to break up an animal-smuggling ring, and he gets help from a group insider, hip-hop artist Gots Money. Benson provides further assistance by posing as a prostitute, but this leads to complications in Stabler’s marriage.

A paraplegic vanishes, and the team discovers the man harbored a secret that may be connected with his disappearance.

Show Your Craft

The culinary contestants must create and serve lunch fare to actual customers at a restaurant founded by head judge Tom Colicchio. Celebrity restaurateur Donatella Arpaia is the guest judge.

Chef Ramsay visits Sante La Brea in Los Angeles and finds a financially strapped restaurant owner who isn’t respected by his staff. Adding to his troubles are spoiled ingredients and a shortage of customers. Then an incident occurs that results in a visit from the police.

Frame Toby

Dirt is dished over a dirty dish: Tension boils over when a mysterious someone leaves a culinary mess in the office microwave. Meanwhile, Michael has trouble accepting that personnel changes were made without his knowledge.

Heaven and Hell

Sam and Dean learn why the angels want to kill Anna. They try to save her by helping her restore a crucial part of her past, even as Alastair and his demons close in on her.

When a baby from a prominent family is kidnapped, Sam is stunned to learn that his father, Vic, may be involved. Vic abandoned the family under mysterious circumstances in 1973 when Sam was 4, and Sam wonders if his time trip is linked to that incident in some way.
